Dock Master Report – 5/23

Filed under: Uncategorized — gregkisinger @ 1:45 pm

I opened the dock today at Noon and waited until 1:05 PM.  No one showed up so I closed the dock.  Weather conditions were: wind from the south between 4 and 10+ mph, overcast sky with darker clouds.  When I left, it started to lightly sprinkle.

Maintenance – the #12 Capri has a very loose Mast and shrouds.

Sailing, Mother’s Day

With requests in by 9pm Saturday, I can open the dock as early as 9:30am. I need to see my 85 year old mother by 2, so I will need to be off the dock by 1:15pm. Within those constraints, I am at your pleasure.

Mike

We have at least three takers, dock will be manned at 1030-1045 and will be manned until 115.   Then at 2 Joel Clarke will be available for dockmaster services.  We are trying to cover the gap, so check back later.

WA Boaters Education Program

Filed under: Uncategorized — RossC @ 11:30 pm

This is a great program providing excellent information for all boaters, power and sail.  Depending upon your age and boat horsepower, the certification may be mandatory.  Read about the program: http://www.parks.wa.gov/boating/boatered/

One of the approved free online courses for this certification is http://www.boatus.org/onlinecourse/

Sunday April 25

Filed under: Uncategorized — woodygreenbird @ 4:01 pm

We will be delivering the El Toros to the dock on Sunday April 25 at noon.  We could use a hand with the unloading and assembly of the cover.

The dock will be open for general sailing inediately after the El Toro congestion clears.  The weather forecast is for clouds, 58 deg F, 20% chance of precip, and wind NW at 5 mph.

4/11/10, ;-(

Filed under: Sailing Plans, Uncategorized — MikeM @ 4:19 pm

The day was lovely, clear skies and 9 mph of breeze; but all the boats sat idle! Closed up at 12:20 and left at 12:30. I should have flagged a friend and gone out, but my neighbor’s lawn and mine needed mowed. We all missed a good one.

No Sailing on 4/3

Filed under: Uncategorized — Key Donn @ 6:33 am

There is no comments on my previous blog for sailing request. No e-mail nor phone call. Per Winter Rules, No sailing today. Besides weather condition is real bad and unpredictable, it is better off not sailing today.
