Have you ever wanted to try sailing? This is a great chance!
Sign up for a FREE introductory sail in a 14 ft sailboat with an experienced sailor from Renton Sailing Center located in Gene Coulon Park, Renton WA. Â
This event is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about sailing. No sailing experience needed. Kids are welcome if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Safety
- Everyone must wear closed toe, non-slip shoes (running or tennis type).
- Sun hats, sunscreen and sunglasses are highly advisable.
- Everyone is required to wear a personal flotation device (life vest) while on the dock. They will be provided.
- It is required that each adult complete a liability waiver for themselves and a separate one for the youth under their care. If you haven’t already done so, please fill out, print and bring with you the attached liability waivers you will need.

Renton Sailing Center’s dock is located by the roundabout at the north end of Gene Coulon Park at
1201 Lake Washington Blvd N, Renton, WA 98056.

Parking may be limited.  Participants should allow extra time to find parking.
Weather
This event is somewhat weather dependent. We will sail in light rain, but will have to reschedule if there are high winds or lightening.Â
Lastly
There will be a waiting list. If participants are unable to join us after all, we ask that they please let us know so we can fill the spot. Please just send a quick email to member-at-large-1@rentonsailing.org. You might just make someone’s day.
Walk-ups – In the past, we have been able to accommodate some “walk-ups” on the day of the event. People are more than welcome to come on down on the day of the event to see if that is a possibility.
